I am currently employed in the banking industry and thus working with computers is part of my everyday exposure. Most of the time, I have to sit and look at my own computer screen to generate reports and analysis. It has been part of my life to use this technology that is why I learned to love it.
I could hardly imagine myself working without using information technology. Almost every moment of my life, I use computer. Since the time this technology was invented, mankind has become dependent on it and so am I. It was proven to be efficient and fast and for that reason it has helped a lot of people in their everyday life.
In my own point of view, the use of this technology is of high importance. Nowadays, you may not be able to find someone who has no knowledge on how to use it. Everyone seems to know how to use this.
I think studying Information Technology brings an advantage for an individual to excel in this modern era wherein the industry evaluates the competency of a person based on his knowledge about this subject.
